Being a not-for-profit organization is incredibly rewarding for a number of reasons. For instance, it allows us to focus on client care and well being, rather than on just improving our bottom line, so-to-speak. As such, our commitment to our clients is that they will receive the best care possible at rates they can afford.
However, in offering our services at reduced rates, we have to engage in fundraising to remain viable.
To date, we have relied in part on funds generated through our yearly 'Co-Operators Dare to Care' Fun Run, which has been very successful and continues to grow. One challenge though is that we have no way of predicting how many funds will be raised each year, which makes budgeting difficult. Even with this event, we're finding ourselves falling a bit short of our budgeting needs.
To offset this, we are looking for those who want to partner with us on a more regular basis - i.e., weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, etc. Our goal is to raise $5500.00 per month in regular giving. And since we are almost half way there, we know that with your help, we can do it!!
For example: All it takes is
10 people giving $300 / month = $3000.00
25 people giving $120 per month = $3000.00
150 people giving $20.00 / month = $3000.00
.... you get the picture. Any gift amount goes a long ways!!
